Schedule a Workshop

Workshops are available to high schools, youth organizations and sports teams in the Portland Metro area. The host organization is responsible for securing a room and distribution of invitational flyers describing the workshop. College Bound Funding will design the flyer, and conduct the workshop.

Workshop content includes:

• Detailing how the college financial system really works.
• Highlighting important deadlines with a suggested schedule.
•  Identifying and defining crucial college financial terminology.
• Explaining the details and timing of award letters.
• Presenting participants with a business plan for increasing college award amounts and college choice.
• Describing what kind of student colleges are looking for.
• Including comments on award negotiations, SAT’s, letters of recommendation, power essays, when to apply to colleges, direction towards fruitful scholarship searches, and more.

Participating families receive a free college needs analysis.
